“Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse”

This course will help you gain an understanding of your role as a mandated reporter in meeting your legal obligations in the area of child protection as per the Child Protective Services Law (CPSL). You will describe and apply current information on the CPSL, recognize elements and indicators of child abuse and neglect, and demonstrate reporting procedures.

Course Objectives:

• Describe and apply current information on the PA Child Protective Services Law

• Review the role and responsibilities of the Child Protective Services System
